Philadelphia Magazine and Law and Politics’ Philadelphia Super Lawyer Recognize HRMM&L Attorneys (... Again)Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell and Lupin is pleased to announce that three of its attorneys have been recognized as being among our region's top lawyers or, “Super Lawyers.” The June issues of both Philadelphia magazine and Law and Politics’ “Philadelphia Super Lawyer” magazine feature Ed Rubin, Ed Mullin and Steve Lupin based on peer recognition, professional achievements and efforts made on behalf of their clients. “Super Lawyers” is a comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys, representing a wide range of practice areas, firm sizes and geographic locations. Law & Politics performs the polling alongside a select, blue ribbon panel of area legal professionals. Research and selection of Super Lawyers is conducted through a process designed to identify lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only 5 percent of the lawyers in our region are named Super Lawyers annually. Ed Rubin is being recognized as a Super Lawyer for the third consecutive year. As one of only a handful of Montgomery County lawyers to be board certified as a trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, Ed has achieved national distinction in the areas of product liability law, asbestos litigation, environmental litigation and malpractice law. Recognized for the second consecutive year, Steve Lupin is one of the area’s higher profile attorneys. Not only has he handled a wide spectrum of well-known cases (e.g., Walter Annenberg v. Board of Commissioners of Montgomery County), as Managing Partner of HRMM&L, he has overseen the rapid growth of one of Montgomery County’s largest law firms. Among other accomplishments, Mr. Lupin is currently Treasurer of the Montgomery Bar Association and past President of the Montgomery County Trial Lawyers Association. Edmund Mullin, who was also recognized as a Super Lawyer in 2004, chairs the Real Estate and Land Use Department of Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin. Practicing real estate and land use law for over 30 years, he has established a noted reputation in the areas of municipal law and land use law. Ed represents Fortune 500 companies as well as emerging businesses in industries ranging from oil producers through pharmaceuticals to retail businesses. His broad-based experience in the area of municipal law has included successfully representing a number of high-profile clients with unique cases.
