Karen T. AlbrightKaren Albright's practice focuses on Real Estate and Business matters. Her clients include closely-held businesses and all of the various parties to a real-estate transaction including developers, buyers and sellers of commercial and residential property, as well as commercial and residential landlords and tenants. During law school, Karen served as a judicial extern for United States District Court Judge Mary Little Cooper and researched topics related to international commercial arbitration for Professor John Y. Gotanda of Villanova. Prior to entering law school, Karen worked at Aetna U.S. Healthcare where she held various marketing and business positions, including senior business information writer and HMO product manager. Karen received her undergraduate degree magna cum laude in 1995 from Gettysburg College, graduating Phi Beta Kappa with English Literature Departmental Honors. In 2003, Karen received her M.B.A. from Saint Joseph's University and her law degree, magna cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law, where she was named to the Order of the Coif. At Villanova, she was an Associate Editor of the Villanova Law Review and a recipient of the Dean's Merit Scholarship.
Recent Representative Cases:
Assisted manufacturing company in securing over twenty million dollars in financing to expand with new products.
Represented developer in entering an agreement for the purchase of vacant land and partnering with investors in a newly formed limited liability company to secure unconventional financing.
Counseled lender by preparing loan documentation and reviewing due diligence materials for multi-million dollar financing with multiple loan facilities.
Represented municipality in drafting numerous zoning and land development ordinances and drafting and adoption of an employee handbook.

Karen enjoys spending her time with her husband and two young children, hiking local trails, biking, traveling, and hosting college friends' families for frequent weekend reunions. She enjoys music and has studied flute performance. She is an active member of the parent/teacher association at her daughter's school and of Gwynedd Square Presbyterian Church.
