The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS”) has revised the Employment Eligibility Verification, Form I-9. All employers must use the new I-9 starting no later than May 7, 2013. Employers who fail to use the proper I-9 can be fined as much as $1,100.00 per incorrect form. The new I-9 form and information pertaining to the I-9 can be found at the USCIS website at www.uscis.gov.
