Michael A. Luongo, a native Philadelphian, is a member of the firm’s business litigation, criminal defense, and personal injury departments. He passionately represents people injured in auto accidents, medical malpractice, and premise liability.

Prior to joining the firm, Michael served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.  For over 6 years, he litigated complex, high-profile criminal cases, including more than 40 jury trials and hundreds of bench trials.  Michael’s impressive trial abilities were recognized early on, resulting in his promotion to the top prosecutor, in Northeast Philadelphia, in record time.

While in law school, Michael served as a summer law clerk to the Hon. Rose Marie DeFino-Nastasi in the Court of Common Pleas, Philadelphia County.  A graduate of Rutgers Law School in Camden, he received his law degree in 2010 while working full time for a marketing firm.

Michael’s strong business background has made him very successful in business litigation.  He earned his Master of Business Administration in 2005 from LaSalle University and his Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from Lehigh University in 2003. Michael also studied International Business at Villanova University’s Post Grad Program before enrolling in law school.

He is an active member of the Montgomery, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations.

Personal Interests

Michael enjoys running, biking, sailing, fishing, hunting, rugby, soccer and the beach.  He and his wife, Kristin, live in Bucks County and his family lives in Montgomery County.
