Steven A. Hann, Esq. spoke recently at the 2018 Pennsylvania Municipal Authorities Association’s (PMAA) Board Member Training Sessions in Camp Hill and Breinigsville, Pennsylvania, and moderated the Solicitor’s Panel at both sessions. PMAA is the statewide organization representing the interests of municipal authorities in the Commonwealth. At these sessions, Steve spoke on the “Top Ten Things” that Municipal Authority personnel need to know about the Municipality Authorities Act, including an Authority’s powers under the Act, Board Member appointments, ethics issues for Board Members, economic issues relevant to Municipal Authorities, and issues associated with the management of a Municipal Authority. He also spoke about related laws, such as the Sunshine Act, and on issues involved in the formation of Stormwater Authorities.
