Kurt is a partner in the firm’s business law department and has over twenty years of experience advising business entities and individuals.

Kurt advises clients on matters relating to formation, asset protection and succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, private exempt offerings and capital raises, manufacturing, distribution, technology, software, and licensing agreements, and much more.  He also assists the firm’s banking clients, utilizing his contracting experience representing banks in various aspects of technology agreements and also, on the other side, navigating vendors and software providers through the often-rigorous procurement processes.

Clients appreciate that they are working with a seasoned business-minded corporate lawyer who has both an MBA with a concentration in Finance and Masters of Law in Taxation, and significant experience as an in-house General Counsel for an international consulting company and a software company providing services to banks and other financial institutions. Because he has been the client, he is able to provide outstanding personalized service to solve clients’ business challenges and achieve their goals.

Prior to these roles, Kurt spent 10 years practicing corporate law in and around Philadelphia.

Kurt received an LL.M. in Taxation from Villanova University School of Law. He is a 2002 cum laude graduate of Delaware Law School and received his MBA and undergraduate degrees from the University of Delaware.

A member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars, Kurt is fluent in Spanish, and enjoys using this skill to counsel both international corporate clients as well as local businesses on a variety of legal issues.
