HRMM&L Attorney Secures Full Acquittal for Client in Philadelphia Jury Trial
John F. McCaul, a seasoned trial attorney in our Criminal Law and Litigation practice, recently secured a full acquittal for his client following two jury trials in Philadelphia. John obtained a not-guilty verdict on 75% of the charges in October, but the jury was hung on one remaining charge. The prosecution elected to retry the case on the sole remaining charge, and the case again proceeded to trial in January. John successfully obtained a not guilty verdict in the retrial and, therefore, secured a complete acquittal on all charges for the client.
This case highlights the importance of a thorough defense and the critical role of the jury trial process. At Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin, we are committed to providing skilled and strategic representation for our clients, protecting their rights, and upholding the principles of due process.
