Brittany Ann Kane is an experienced trial lawyer and litigator with substantial courtroom experience and a reputation for thorough preparation and tenacious advocacy. A member of the firm’s Litigation Department, she focuses much of her practice on business disputes and complex litigation matters across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Brittany is skilled in navigating all phases of litigation—from pre-suit investigation and pleadings through discovery, motion practice, trial, and appeal—and she brings a blend of diligence, creativity, and strategic insight to every case she handles. She particularly enjoys analyzing novel legal issues and developing innovative approaches to achieve her clients’ goals.
Brittany is a graduate of Temple University (B.A., English, Creative Writing, 2015) and the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law (J.D., 2019). During law school, she distinguished herself both academically and in advocacy: she served as Executive Articles Editor for the Drexel Law Review and was a competing member of Drexel’s nationally ranked Trial Team, honing the trial skills that she continues to use daily in her practice.
Following law school, Brittany gained valuable experience defending corporate healthcare facilities and their owners in professional liability and medical malpractice actions, representing clients in both state and federal courts. This work sharpened her ability to manage complex fact patterns, expert-heavy discovery, and high-stakes litigation. She then broadened her courtroom experience as an Assistant District Attorney in Chester County, Pennsylvania, where she prosecuted a wide range of criminal cases from investigation through trial verdict. In that role, she regularly appeared before judges and juries, further deepening her trial experience and her ability to think quickly and persuasively in high-pressure situations.
Today, Brittany leverages this diverse background to provide clients with skilled, results-driven representation in commercial and civil litigation. She is known for her strong written and oral advocacy, her meticulous attention to detail, and her commitment to finding practical, effective solutions tailored to each client’s needs. Her experience on both the defense and prosecution side gives her a balanced perspective and a unique ability to anticipate and respond to opposing counsel’s strategies.
Outside the courtroom, Brittany is dedicated to ongoing professional development and service. She remains actively engaged in the legal community and values the opportunity to mentor and support emerging attorneys, just as she was supported early in her own career.
