Kevin McGrath is a partner in the firm’s Business Law Department and represents a wide array of business clients, each with distinct issues, needs, and goals. From formation to acquisition and all matters in between, Kevin’s practice spans nearly every facet of business ownership and management. His work includes structuring and implementing transactions, drafting complex agreements, and advising business owners on how best to address legal challenges and opportunities. Kevin’s background as a commercial litigator affords him a unique perspective that clients find invaluable, particularly when navigating complex negotiations or potential disputes.

Kevin earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from the Charles Widger School of Law at Villanova University, an advanced credential that deepens his expertise in tax law and enhances the sophisticated counsel he provides in his core practice areas of Business Law and Mergers & Acquisitions. He previously obtained his Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law, where he served as an Associate Editor for the Villanova Law Review, worked as a student attorney in the Interdisciplinary Mental and Physical Health Law Clinic, and completed a judicial externship with the Honorable Thomas L. Ambro of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Before attending law school, Kevin served as a corps member for Teach For America, where he earned his teacher certification and taught middle school in the Houston Independent School District. His passion for education continues today: he serves on the Board of Directors of the Literacy Council of Norristown, is Vice Chair of the Montgomery Bar Association’s Liberty and Law Civics Education Program, and provides pro bono representation to child victims of abuse, neglect, and trafficking through the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project.

Kevin has been recognized on the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars List annually since 2023, an honor awarded to no more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in the state.

He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010 and continues to pair academic achievement with practical, client-focused solutions in his legal practice.
