Danielle Yacono is a member of the firm’s Trusts and Estates group, where she advises individuals and families on all aspects of estate planning and trust administration. Her practice encompasses counseling clients on how best to value and protect their assets, minimize tax consequences, and navigate the complexities of wealth preservation. Danielle has extensive experience drafting a wide range of estate planning instruments, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, special needs trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, and grantor and dynasty trusts. She also represents clients in Orphans’ Court, where she brings her litigation background to bear in resolving disputes that arise in the administration of estates and trusts.

Danielle’s approach is guided by a deep commitment to helping her clients safeguard their legacies. She focuses on reducing the tax implications of wealth transfers and carefully considers the impact of federal and state income, gift, and estate tax exemptions to craft customized solutions. When disputes cannot be avoided, she draws on her significant trial experience to advocate effectively and pursue favorable results.

Before entering private practice, Danielle served as an Assistant Public Defender with the Defender Association of Philadelphia, where she was assigned to a Major Cases courtroom handling serious felonies and misdemeanors. This experience provided her with substantial trial and courtroom expertise, which she now applies to her trusts and estates practice when litigation becomes necessary.

Danielle is admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is an active member of the Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, and Montgomery Bar Associations, where she continues to engage with colleagues and stay informed on developments in her field. She earned her undergraduate degree from Villanova University and went on to receive her J.D. from the University of New Hampshire School of Law.
