Noah Marlier is Of Counsel to the firm and a member of its Municipal Law Team, where he focuses his practice on representing townships, zoning boards, and municipal authorities. He is also the elected Prothonotary of Montgomery County, a position to which he was first elected in 2019 and began serving in January 2020. In both roles, Noah brings a deep commitment to public service and a passion for ensuring that local government functions effectively and transparently for the benefit of the community.
Noah has extensive experience advising municipalities, zoning hearing boards, and water and sewer authorities on a wide range of governance, compliance, and operational issues. He also has strong litigation experience and regularly helps clients navigate complex disputes with clarity and confidence. He currently serves as Solicitor to the Borough of Bridgeport Zoning Hearing Board, the Borough of Jenkintown Zoning Hearing Board, the West Norriton Township Civil Service Commission, and the Upper Merion Transportation and General Authorities. Noah finds great fulfillment in municipal law because it allows him to contribute to the greater good of entire communities, helping leaders make informed decisions that directly affect residents’ daily lives.
Before entering private practice, Noah served for over three years as an Assistant District Attorney in the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, where he was assigned to the Economic Crimes Unit. In that capacity, he prosecuted cases involving fraud, embezzlement, and other financial crimes, developing a strong foundation in trial work and investigative strategy.
Noah’s career path reflects his lifelong dedication to service and justice. After earning his degree from James Madison University in 2002, he worked as a public school teacher before joining the U.S. Peace Corps. He spent two years as a volunteer in Malawi, Africa, where he taught and worked alongside community leaders in one of the world’s most economically challenged regions. His time in Malawi profoundly shaped his worldview, reinforcing his belief in fairness, equity, and the role of law in advancing justice. Motivated by these experiences, Noah pursued legal studies at Rutgers Camden School of Law, where he graduated cum laude in 2010.
Whether in his role as Prothonotary, counsel to municipalities, or litigator, Noah is known for his approachable style, his ability to translate complex legal issues into clear guidance, and his commitment to advancing the interests of both his clients and the broader community.
